Hi! I am Burcu,
I was born and raised in Istanbul. I have found cinema and the art of painting to be essential ways to express myself. I am a 2D animation filmmaker, animation director, children’s book illustrator, and painter. Since I do not want to limit myself to one type of production, I accept being versatile. Being able to produce and be on this creative path also brings me a sense of fulfillment. I have been living in Hamburg since I began my film studies at the HFBK University of Fine Arts. I love living here and continue to produce children’s book illustrations, paintings, comics, and animation projects.
